Starting Again, Without the Pressure
Spring always feels like a fresh start—but if I’m being honest, I don’t come into it feeling fully ready.
I come in a little tired.
A little slower than I thought I’d be.
Still carrying pieces of winter with me.
And I’ve learned… that’s okay.
God never asks us to rush into a new season pretending we’re already fully bloomed. Nature doesn’t even do that. Everything unfolds in its own time, and there’s a rhythm to it.
So instead of forcing myself into “getting it together,” I’ve been leaning into small resets.
Opening the windows.
Letting fresh air move through my home.
Getting back to simple routines that feel grounding again.
Doing the next thing.
This is the time of year I come back to my basics—my teas, my salves, the things that help me reconnect to my body and slow my mind down. Nothing complicated. Just what works.
If you’ve been feeling behind or a little out of sync, I want to gently remind you—you’re not late.
You’re just beginning again.
And that’s a beautiful place to be 🌿
